The owners, Louise and Christian, produce ciders and wines using gentle farming methods, without herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers. They believe in degrowth. Christian Barthomeuf, a pioneer of contemporary Quebec viticulture, planted Dunham's first vineyard in 1980: Domaine des Côtes d'Ardoises. In 1989, he created the world's first ice cider, one of Canada's great agri-food success stories. This landmark contribution to the world of ciders led to a revolution in the industry.
